More Than an Editor — A Storyteller at Heart
Garrett Guinn is an Emmy Award–winning video producer and editor based in Portland, Oregon. With over a decade of experience crafting content for the Portland Trail Blazers and brands across industries, Garrett brings a filmmaker’s eye and an editor’s precision to every story he tells.

Shaped by Stories, Driven by Connection
Garrett’s path started in Oregon, fueled by a love for storytelling and a curiosity about the world. Early stints with OPB and award-winning student projects quickly gave way to a career in sports and documentary filmmaking. By 2015, he had joined the Portland Trail Blazers, where he grew from intern to Lead Video Editor — creating campaign spots, documentary series, and in-arena films that inspired millions of fans.
Along the way, Garrett’s work has been recognized with multiple NW Regional Emmys, including Best Sports Program and Commercial Single Spot. His documentary, Perception: From Prison to Purpose, won Best Social Issue Documentary at the Oregon Independent Film Festival.
Beyond the edit bay, Garrett is a cancer survivor, nature enthusiast, and world traveler. These experiences shape the way he approaches storytelling — with resilience, empathy, and a belief that every project deserves heart.
